Codes of Conduct

Real Estate North Carolina EthicsREALTORS® pledge to uphold the highest of professional standards and must successfully complete training courses in ethics in four-year cycles. The Code of Conduct applies mandates beyond those imposed by law or regulation to real estate professionals who take on the designation of becoming REALTORS®.

A REALTOR® found in breach of the Code of Conduct will be subject to discipline by their peers. Alleged violations of the Code of Conduct may be submitted in writing to the Greater Chapel Hill Association of REALTORS® and/or the National Association of REALTORS®. In the event that a REALTOR® is found in breach of the Code of Conduct, they will be subject to disciplinary action(s).
